It’s been a few weeks since the launch of Finally Have Lashes, the mascara made exclusively for redheads. Three shades were released. We’ve named them “The Finally Have Lashes Trio” and they consist of: Red-y for Lashes Perfectly Auburn Redhead Mascara, Brown With a Splash of Red: Perfectly Brown Mascara, and A Full 180: Perfectly Black Mascara.
The redhead mascaras are clean, cruelty-free, Leaping Bunny-approved, paraben-free, and vegan. They’re also Made in the USA. They’re special because they’re clean, custom formulas with an optimized hourglass brush to glide through lashes, separating and coating them with gorgeous shades. The mascaras are formulated with sensitive redheads in mind. Made without alcohol, gluten, GMO’s, oil, paragons, phthalates, silicones or talc.
You might wonder why redheads need such specific makeup and the answer is simple: we’re unique and our makeup products should be too. There are two important factors: color/shade and formulation.
First, redheads are usually forced to use brown or black mascara. You may love black and brown (and if you’ve followed How to be a Redhead for a while, you know we are big fans of dark mascaras). BUT, redheads need options. That’s why we created the Perfectly Auburn and Brown (with a tint of red) mascara. And, of course, we included a black mascara because we wanted redheads to have choices — and redheads usually never have choices when shopping for makeup.
Second, harmful chemicals are a reality when shopping for makeup. Sadly, chemicals make makeup products cheap and this is when irritation occurs. Redheads have a variety of known sensitivities and the eye area is the most sensitive of them all. When creating Finally Have Lashes, a clean formula was our number one priority. We made it happen and we’re so thrilled with the results.
We also can’t forget the custom wand we created. It’s an hourglass brush that provides volume and length; because like we said, redheads need OPTIONS!
With thousands of orders on launch day (which also happened to be National #LoveYourRedHairDay), the reviews came rolling in last week.
