This spring/summer, white is one of the most standout colors from the runway to the streets. How can anyone resist the beauty of a white dress? Taylor Tomasi Hill (a redhead fashion icon!) rocks white and proves that nothing will make you feel more flirty and fun this summer season:

1. Try a pair of white jeans. White jeans can be found in almost any store this season. My favorite cut is the bootcut because it is perfect with a gorgeous pair of nude heels. J.Crew has a beautiful pair of white bootcut jeans in their collection and if bootcut isn’t for you, they come in a cropped pair and a skinny.

2. White sundresses. These make redheads look ravishing! The bright white will light up your face and contrast beautifully with your hair. Last year, Alice and Olivia’s Spring Ready to Wear show featured redheads in all different white dress silhouettes.

3. White shorts. They are perfect for the warm spring months, paired with a bright blue or hot pink top. Your red hair will totally pop. Seven For All Mankind has a great line of jean shorts!

4. Denim Jackets. These are coming back this spring, so combine two trends and rock a white denim jacket over a floral sundress! You can never go wrong with Ralph Lauren‘s jean jackets.

ACCESSORY TIP: The best accessories for white outfits are gold. Gold wedges will dress up any white dress or white jeans, and you can pair them with gold jewelry. Big long necklaces are flirty and fun for the springtime. The gold will perfectly accent the bronze in a redhead’s hair.

MAKEUP TIP: Always wear a tad bit of bronzer and a darker eye when rockin’ white or else it will wash out your redhead features.

Redheads, this summer is a scorcher and sometimes wearing shorts is tough because it is hard to know what color fabric will complement our skin tone.  Here are some fun ways to wear shorts and you’re guaranteed to never get lost in the crowd of denim cutoffs.

1. Lace Shorts: Free People’s Scalloped Shorts are fun, flirty and come in three colors! My favorite are the “Flamingo Pink,” but make sure to be careful if you have pink undertones in your skin. If you do, the ivory pair will look AMAZING and make you look more tan! These shorts are also ready for a night on the town if you throw your hair up into a ponytail, add some big chunky necklaces and some killer heels.

2. Prints: This is a great way to play this summer. A print will also draw more attention to your backside, so if you love your butt, a print is the way to go! Urban Outfitters is always a must when looking for fun prints. Also, do not be afraid to mix prints; just do not overwhelm your body with too many. Take one accent color on a larger print and match it with a color on a smaller print for a funky and refreshing summer look. Make sure to stick with neutral shoes and minimal jewelry to make this look work.

3. Linen: I love linen because it is one of the best and most comfortable materials to wear during the summer- it is light and airy and just feels like summer. JCrew makes the perfect linen short this season. Whether you are at the beach or not, these shorts are going to make you feel like grabbing a good book and a summer drink to soak up the sun.

4. Thrifty Tips: If you are on a summertime budget or trying to save up for your dream vacation, or even if you are working and having a weekend staycation, you can get trendy shorts without breaking the bank. Head to your local thrift store and buy a pair of high waisted jeans, cut them to your desired length, and you have a cute and trendy new pair of shorts in minutes, and for a great price!

5. Rock Heels: As all women know, no outfit is complete without a rockin’ pair of heels, so in order to rock these shorts like a redhead and completely show off those gorgeous legs of yours, make them look mile high in a pair of chunky wedges from Steve Madden, or if you like the more sleek look, try the Michael Kors Belinda Snakeskin Sandal.

6. Sunless Tanner: Also, remember a great self tanner goes a long way. Finally, the weather is heating up and I want to scream “finally!” because I grew up in sunny California. Summertime symbolizes beach days, barbeques, long bike rides and lots of fun with friends and family.

Most of my friends were bleach blonde, tan girls, so I learned how to rock the same ‘just came from the beach’ look while still looking fashionable and keeping my skin safe. Here are a few tips on how to pull off that ‘California cool’ look, redhead style:

1. Wear Linen: Linen is the perfect accessory for summer! It is the best option because it offers maximum sun protection and is so fashionable. Check out Roxy Ocean Side Beach Pants.

Boots were all the rage at NYC’s 2012 Fashion Week! Rag & Bone featured a funky boot with every look. As the winter months progress and the temperature cools, we must find our staple pair of boots in order to keep our feet snug.

It is easy to go for the typical halfway-up-the calf brown leather boot, but this season, lets be more adventurous! 

Play with length: Try an ankle bootie to show off your legs or try an over-the-knee boot to wear with your favorite skinny jeans.

Play with texture: Boots can be found in so many fun textures; like suede, knit, or a fabric shaft.

Play with detail: I encourage you to look for something that catches your eye. This will help you to personalize the average boot; it will give your style some edge. My personal favorite is a big buckle and two-toned boots.

Play with color: Try an awesome red, leather boot.
